The Yakima SkyRise SL is the lightweight softshell tent in the SkyRise range, built on the same generous 244 by 142 cm floor as the HD but using 210D ripstop throughout to keep roof weight down. At 54,9 kg it is the easiest of the Yakima tents to live with on a smaller vehicle or a lighter rack.

• Lightest in the range: at 54,9 kg the SL saves nearly 5 kg against the HD and 27 kg against the hardshell SkyPeak, which matters on smaller cars and roof load limits.
• Full size floor: the 244 by 142 cm interior matches the HD exactly, so the weight saving does not come out of your sleeping space.
• 210D ripstop construction: the lighter canopy and matching removable rainfly are what make the weight and the price work.
• Memory foam mattress: the 239 by 140 cm mattress is 63 mm thick with a removable cover, the same sleeping comfort as the more expensive models.
• Removable rainfly: taking the fly off opens up the mesh panels as skylights on dry nights.
• Tool free tent clamps: Yakima's low profile clamp design fits the tent to the bars without tools and includes lock cores.
• Ergonomic ladder: the collapsible aluminium ladder uses the same extra wide angled steps as the HD, rated to EN 131 and 150 kg.
• SideTrack channel: the channel in the tent floor takes the matching SkyRise SL annex, sold separately, for a ground level changing room.
• Mounting and capacity: the tent folds to 147 by 122 by 42 cm, takes a crossbar spread of 66 to 102 cm and supports 272 kg static load once pitched.
