Description
The Salewa Puez GORE-TEX® 2-Layer EPE Jacket Men in Dark Olive/Faded Green is a waterproof hardshell built on GORE-TEX® ePE, Gore's PFAS free membrane, with a 28000 mm hydrostatic head. At 480 g with pit zips and a helmet compatible hood, it is a full weather protection shell for trekking and alpine days rather than a light emergency layer.
- GORE-TEX® ePE membrane: the expanded polyethylene membrane is Gore's PFAS free generation, so the weather protection does not rely on PFC chemistry.
- 28000 mm hydrostatic head: the waterproof rating is far above the minimum for a shell, which is what sustained mountain rain actually demands.
- Fully taped seams: every seam is taped, because an untaped seam is the first place a shell leaks.
- Underarm pit zips: the vents dump heat on a climb without opening the front and letting rain in.
- Helmet compatible hood: the tailored hood adjusts at the rear and fits over a climbing or ski helmet.
- High collar: the collar comes up to protect the face in driving wind and rain.
- Two zipped cargo pockets: both front pockets close, positioned to stay usable with a pack hip belt fastened.
- Laminated adjustable cuffs: hook and loop cuffs seal over gloves or close down over bare wrists.
- 100 percent recycled face fabric: the 75D bluesign certified face fabric is fully recycled, and the jacket carries the Salewa Committed standard.
- 480 g in a regular fit: a longer rear hem for coverage when bending forward, in sizes 46/S to 54/XXL.
