The Yakima SkyRise HD is a heavy duty softshell rooftop tent that folds out to sleep up to three people on a 244 by 142 cm memory foam mattress. Built around a 600D ripstop canopy with a 3000 mm waterproof coating, it is the durable member of the SkyRise range, with a covered ladder vestibule and an anti condensation mat included as standard.

• Sleeps up to three: the 244 by 142 cm floor and 122 cm peak height give a family or a pair with gear room to spread out rather than just fit.
• 600D ripstop canopy, 3000 mm waterproof: the heavier fabric and higher hydrostatic head are what separate the HD from the lighter SL, and they show in sustained rain and wind.
• Covered ladder access: the pop out expansion carries the rainfly over the ladder, so climbing in and out during a downpour does not soak the bedding.
• Premium memory foam mattress: the 60 mm mattress has a removable washable cover and sleeps considerably better than the foam pads fitted to cheaper tents.
• Anti condensation mat included: the mat sits under the mattress to let air circulate, which is how you avoid waking up to a damp underside.
• Removable 210D rainfly: the fly comes off entirely to turn the roof panels into skylights on clear nights.
• Dual power pass throughs: two zippered slots feed cables in for lighting, a fan or a heater without leaving a gap for weather.
• Tool free lockable clamps: the low profile clamps fit without tools and include same key lock cores to secure the tent to the crossbars.
• Ergonomic ladder: the collapsible aluminium ladder has extra wide angled steps that are comfortable barefoot, rated to EN 131 and 150 kg.
• Mounting and capacity: the tent weighs 59,7 kg, folds to 147 by 122 by 42 cm, takes a crossbar spread of 66 to 102 cm and supports 272 kg static load once pitched.
