The Yakima SweetRoll is a four saddle roof carrier with integrated rollers, designed so a kayak or paddleboard can be rolled up onto the roof from the rear instead of being lifted. The spring loaded base adjusts itself to the shape of the hull during loading, which makes single handed loading realistic even with a full size boat.

• Rollers instead of lifting: the rear saddles carry rollers so the bow is placed on the back of the car and the boat is simply pushed forward into position.
• Self adjusting saddles: the spring loaded base moves the saddles to follow the hull shape as the boat slides on, so nothing needs to be set by hand.
• Fits flat and V shaped hulls: the tilting pads accommodate both shallow and steeply V shaped hulls, and compensate for angled crossbars.
• Hull safe pads: the smooth moulded pads spread the load without marking gel coat, plastic or composite surfaces.
• Straps and tie downs included: heavy duty securing straps plus bow and stern lines are supplied, and Yakima specifies that the bow and stern lines must be used.
• Four locks included: this version comes with a lock for each saddle, securing all four to the crossbars.
• Tool free fitting: a quick handle clamp mounts the saddles to round, square, factory and aerodynamic bars in about ten minutes.
• Load capacity: the carrier takes a single boat up to 36 kg and weighs only 3,5 kg itself.
