The Wild Country Xenon HMS Screwgate Belay is a 73 gram pear shaped locking carabiner rated at 24 kN, fitted with a wire keeper that holds the belay device in place. That keeper is the whole difference between this and the plain Xenon HMS: it stops the carabiner rotating and being loaded across its weak axis while you belay.
