These are 145 mm splitboard climbing skins from Pomoca, the Swiss maker that supplies skins to much of the touring industry. They come with the Ready2Climb splitboard attachment and are cut to your board with the supplied method, which takes a couple of minutes per half.

• 145 mm width: trimmed to the two halves of a splitboard rather than to a ski.
• Mohair and nylon plush: Pomoca quote 65 percent mohair and 35 percent nylon for the current version, while some retailer listings still show 70/30 from the earlier run. The blend places it toward the durable end rather than the pure race end.
• Ready2Climb attachment: an angled Click Lock stirrup at the tip with an off centre replaceable buckle, plus an elastic tail strap.
• SSL waterproof membrane: Pomoca's Safer Skin Light layer, which cut the weight of the previous generation by around 12 percent.
• Ever Dry 3.0 treatment: a PFC free water repellent finish, which is what stops a skin taking on water and icing up.
• Pomoca adhesive: reglue only with Pomoca glue if the skins ever need it.
• Name change: Sold previously as the Climb 2.0 splitboard skin, which Pomoca have since renamed Splitboard Explore. It is the same product under a newer name.
