This is a 90 mm brake for Dynafit Superlite bindings, sold separately because the binding is offered without one. Fitting a brake is a decision rather than an upgrade: it saves you chasing a ski down a slope, but on the Superlite 150 it also costs you flat mode.

• 90 mm width: for skis up to about 90 mm underfoot. Dynafit also make 75 mm and 105 mm versions.
• Compatibility: Fits Dynafit Superlite 150 and Superlite 175 and 2.0 heel units
• Clips onto the heel base: a retrofit part, not a rebuild.
• Removes flat mode on the Superlite 150: with the brake fitted the heel can no longer rotate to the flat position, leaving two climbing heights.
• The alternative is a leash: Superlite bindings are commonly run brakeless with a leash, which is why the brake is optional.
