The Salewa Pedroc Air Shoe Men in Dark Olive/Black is the hot weather member of the Pedroc speed hiking family, built around a highly breathable knitted mesh upper. At 310 g it is the lightest of the three, and the only one with the Kevlar cable version of the 3F System and a protective TPU rand.

• Maximum ventilation: the knitted mesh upper is built to move air through the shoe, which is the whole reason to choose the Air over the other Pedrocs.
• 3F System with Kevlar cables: the Kevlar cable version links lacing, sole and heel for a secure hold that the knit upper alone could not provide.
• Protective TPU rand: the rand shields the lightweight upper from rock and scree, the usual weak point of a knit shoe.
• Speed Hiker Pro outsole with Pomoca: the S-Path tread was developed with Pomoca specifically for fast hiking.
• 310 g per shoe: the lightest Pedroc, which is felt directly on every step of a long ascent.
• 8 mm drop: a middle ground between the 6 mm of the Max and the 10 mm of the Pedroc 2.
• Standard last: unlike the wide fitting Pedroc 2 models, the Air uses a standard width last.
• Multi Fit Footbed: the MFF+ footbed adjusts internal volume to tune the fit.
• Non membrane: there is no waterproof membrane, which is the trade off that makes the ventilation possible.
