The Salewa Ortles Guide 35L in Dark Denim is a 35 litre alpine pack weighing 1280 grams, built from recycled ripstop nylon with a roll top closure. Ortles is Salewa's technical alpine line, and this is the guide's pack: strip it down for a summit day, build it back up for the walk in.

• Colourway and capacity: Dark Denim, 35 litres, 1280 g.
• Strips down: the lid, the hipbelt padding and the internal support bar all come off, so the pack can be reduced for a route.
• Roll top with an AquaGuard zip: keeps weather out at the closure, which is where a lid pack lets water in.
• Dry Back Contact panel: padded EVA with 3D channels, so the back is not a solid sweating surface.
• Back length: adjusts 45 to 53 cm.
• Ice tool and rope attachment: Ice tool attachment with a protective pocket, and a magnetic buckle rope strap on the lid.
• Ski carry: Parallel ski carry with detachable straps, convertible to diagonal.
• REGEN ROBIC recycled nylon: 420 denier main body with 210 denier panels.
