The Salewa Wildfire Edge is the low cut, non membrane version of the same approach shoe: 422 grams per shoe, no GORE-TEX®, and the same Edging Plate under the forefoot. Without the membrane it breathes properly in summer heat, which is the trade for keeping water out.

• Low cut and no membrane: lighter and far more breathable than the mid GORE-TEX® version, and it will wet through in rain.
• 422 g per shoe: 83 grams lighter than the mid GORE-TEX® version.
• Edging Plate under the toes: directional stiffness for standing on small edges.
• Pomoca Speed MTN outsole in Butilic compound: note this is the Speed MTN, while the mid GORE-TEX® uses the Speed MTN Pro.
• Lacing: Switchfit rear eyelet and climbing lacing to the toe
• Upper: 1.6 mm suede upper with an Exa Shell 3D cage and 3F System on Kevlar cables
• Drop and footbed: 11 mm drop, Multi Fit Footbed Plus
