The K2 Rant is a hard shell ski and snowboard helmet with an ABS outer shell bonded to an EPS liner, the classic construction for a durable resort helmet. It weighs around 530 grams and is certified to ASTM F2040 and to EN 1077 Class B.

• Certified ASTM F2040 and EN 1077 Class B: Class B is the standard for alpine skiing, tested over a smaller area than Class A but permitting better hearing and ventilation.
