The Evolv Titan is a flat lasted climbing shoe built for comfort and durability rather than for performance on steep rock. Evolv designed it as a rental and programme shoe, which tells you what to expect: it is made to be worn all day, by many different feet, for a long time.

• Flat, symmetrical last: no downturn and low asymmetry, so it can be worn for hours rather than for a single hard route.
• Hook and loop closure: straps rather than laces, for quick on and off.
• Unlined leather upper with a mesh tongue: breathable, and leather stretches to the foot over time.
• TRAX rubber: Evolv's own high friction compound, on a medium stiff platform that supports edging and crack climbing.
• MX-P full length midsole: the stiffness that stops the foot tiring on small edges.
• Variable Thickness Rand: thicker rubber at the toe, where a shoe wears through first.
• Gym, rental and all day comfort: a good beginner and high volume shoe, not a performance sport climbing shoe.
