Description
The Dynafit Blacklight Long Travel is a lightweight pin binding for ski touring, built in Germany around a 50 mm heel adjustment track that accepts a wide range of boot sole lengths. It pairs a 420 g construction with integrated brakes and pole operated climbing aids, so it climbs like a race binding but sets up like an everyday touring one.
- 420 g per binding: the forged aluminium and stainless steel construction keeps weight low without moving to a stripped back race binding.
- 50 mm heel adjustment track: the long travel track covers a wide span of boot sole lengths, which makes it practical for shared skis or a change of boots.
- Bayonet Lock: the locking heel turret delivers high power transfer to the ski and holds its setting over long seasons of use.
- Speed Step Climbing Aid: the risers are flipped with a pole basket, so you never have to bend down mid skin track.
- Step In Side Towers: the side towers guide the boot into place for noticeably easier entry and add lateral stability on the descent.
- Ice Breaker Pins: the pins clear snow and ice out of the boot inserts as you step in, which is where most cold morning transitions go wrong.
- Fixed Front Release: the vertical release runs on a fixed value U spring to save weight, while lateral release stays adjustable from 5 to 12.
- Integrated brakes and crampon slot: the brakes deploy automatically and can be removed with four screws, and the crampon slot takes ski crampons for firm spring snow.
- Made in Germany: the binding is developed and manufactured in Germany and carries the Dynafit Lifetime Guarantee.
