The Salewa Ortles Wall 32L Backpack in Red Orange is a roll top alpine climbing pack for multi pitch routes, alpine days and ski mountaineering approaches. Built from 100 percent recycled Regen Robic ripstop nylon at 1125 g, it strips down for climbing and carries a rope, ice tools and skis on the way in.

• Roll top with three way access: the roll top closure keeps weather out, while a side zip and a separate front compartment let you reach kit without unpacking from the top.
• Magnetic buckle rope strap: the top rope strap closes with a magnetic buckle, which works with cold hands and gloves where a fiddly clip does not.
• Ice tool attachment: the axe fixation carries tools securely on the approach with the picks protected.
• Ski carry, parallel and diagonal: the pack takes skis in either configuration, so it works for ski mountaineering as well as summer alpine.
• Strips down for climbing: the internal stabilisation board and the hipbelt padding both come out, cutting weight and bulk for the technical part of the day.
• Dry Back Contact carrying system: the padded EVA back panel with 3D ventilation channels sits close to the body for stability rather than standing off it.
• Adjustable torso length: the back adjusts from 45 to 53 cm, so the hipbelt lands correctly rather than approximately.
• Recycled Regen Robic fabric: the 420D and 210D ripstop nylon is fully recycled and rated 60 percent more tear resistant than standard pack fabric.
• Water repellent zips and hydration compatible: the zips shed water and the pack takes a reservoir with tube guides and an exit port.
• 32 litres at 1125 g: 57 by 24 by 28 cm, with low profile split shoulder straps and load control straps.
• Ski carry
• Parallel and diagonal
