The Black Crows Duos Freebird is a two section adjustable ski touring pole, 110 to 140 cm, weighing 245 grams per pole. The defining feature is the 38 centimetre foam grip: on a traverse you slide your hand down the shaft instead of stopping to shorten the pole.

• 110 to 140 cm adjustment: one pole covers the range from steep skinning to a long flat approach.
• 38 cm EVA foam grip: long enough to choke down on a side hill without adjusting anything.
• 245 g per pole: light for an adjustable aluminium pole.
• 7075 aluminium upper, composite lower: an 18 mm upper shaft and a 16 mm lower.
• Power Lock 3.0 aluminium clamp: a single external lever lock, adjustable for tension and usable with gloves on.
• 90 mm flexible basket: sized for soft snow rather than piste.
• Tungsten carbide tip: holds a point on ice and rock.
• Black with Yellow, sold as a pair
• 7075 aluminium upper
• Composite lower
