The K2 Recon 130 BOA replaces the two lower buckles with a single BOA dial on the lower shell, which pulls the shell evenly around the forefoot instead of clamping it at two points. It is a 130 flex alpine boot: no walk mode, no tech inserts, built for driving a ski hard on piste.

• BOA closure: One BOA H+i1 dial on the lower shell with a stainless steel lace, replacing the two lower buckles.
• Buckles: Two alloy cuff buckles above, plus a one piece cam power strap.
• Flex and last: 130 flex, MultiFit last quoted at 97 to 100 mm depending on shell size.
• Sole: GripWalk sole to ISO 23223, removable and replaceable.
• No walk mode and no tech inserts: this is a two piece alpine boot, unlike the Mindbender BOA.
• Liner: Powerfit Pro liner in heat mouldable Ultralon.
