The Dynafit Alpine Pole is a folding trail running pole with a fixed working length, offered here at 120 cm. It collapses to about 40 centimetres for carrying and deploys in one movement when you release it, which is the behaviour that matters when you want poles only for the steep sections.

• Folding, fixed length: it packs down but does not adjust, so choose the length that suits your height.
• Packs to about 40 cm: short enough to stow in a running vest or on the outside of a small pack.
• Shift deployment system: the pole locks out automatically when released through the opening in the grip.
• Aluminium shaft: Dynafit's own specification table lists aluminium, though their marketing text mentions carbon. We quote the specification.
• Extended EVA foam grip: lets you choke down on a steep climb without changing anything.
• Basket and tip: Small racing basket and a tungsten carbide tip
• Dawn colourway
• A running pole, not a ski pole: the Alpine name refers to Dynafit's trail running line.
