The Salewa Pedroc 2 Max Shoe Men in Faded Green/Dark Olive is the most protective and structured of the Pedroc speed hiking shoes, with a high density EVA stability plate in the midsole. Despite the name it is the lightest of the three at 325 g, because the Max refers to protection and stability rather than cushioning.

• Stability plate in the midsole: the high density EVA plate inside the rebound EVA midsole giving stability on rocky and uneven ground.
• Pomoca Speed Hiker 2 outsole: the tread is designed for fast hiking, gripping on trail and rock without the drag of a deep lugged sole.
• 3F System with TPU and PA: the system links lacing, sole and heel for ankle hold, in the TPU and polyamide version rather than the Kevlar cable one.
• Protective mesh upper with TPU film: the high tenacity mesh is reinforced with TPU overlays and microfibre where scree and rock do the damage.
• 6 mm drop: the low drop keeps the foot close to the ground for a natural fast hiking stride.
• Wide fit: the wide last suits broader feet and gives the toes room to spread on long descents.
• Dual density recycled footbed: the removable footbed uses recycled materials and can be swapped for a custom orthotic.
• Reflective details: visibility elements for low light starts and finishes.
