The Salewa Alp Trainer Mid GORE-TEX® Kids' Shoe in green with pink is a waterproof mid cut hiking boot for children. The mid cut is the reason to choose it over a shoe: on loose ground a child's ankle turns long before an adult's does.

• Green with pink: the brighter of the current colourways, easy to spot at a distance on a busy path.
• Ankle support where it counts: the mid cut holds the ankle on scree and rooty ground.
• Michelin JR Ultra Train sole: a real tread pattern in Outdoor Compound rubber, not a shrunk down adult one.
• GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort: waterproof and breathable in the uninsulated version, so feet do not overheat walking uphill.
• 290 g per shoe: light matters more for children than for adults, because the legs are shorter.
• Footbed and sizing: OrthoLite footbed, EU 26 to 38.
• Availability: Discontinued, so sizes are limited to remaining stock. Salewa's own catalogue name for the closest colour is Shaded Spruce with Pink Red.
