The K2 Disruption 76X with the Marker M3 10 Compact QuikClik binding is the forgiving one: 76 mm underfoot with Catch-Free Rocker, meaning the tip and the tail are both lifted. That profile is what stops a ski hooking when a developing skier gets forward or back at the wrong moment.

• Catch-Free Rocker: rocker at both ends with camber underfoot, which makes turn entry easy and turn exit forgiving.
• Waist width: 76 mm waist, the widest of the men's packages here, more float and more stability off the groomed edge.
• Sidecut and radius: 126 / 76 / 110 mm with a 14.4 metre radius at 170 cm.
• No metal: an aspen light core with fibreglass I-beam reinforcement, so it is light and easy to turn.
• Hybritech sidewall: part sidewall, part cap, which keeps weight down.
• Binding: Marker M3 10 Compact QuikClik binding, release range 3 to 10.
• Beginner to intermediate: the progression ski of the group, not a ski to grow out of in a week.
• Safety note: Release values must be set and tested by a technician.
