The Salewa Ortles Hybrid TirolWool Responsive Jacket is a men's insulated jacket that places its fill only where it is needed. TirolWool Responsive batting at 60 grams per square metre covers the body, while Durastretch Wool panels take the sides, so the jacket vents where a climber overheats and insulates where the cold gets in. Ortles is Salewa's technical alpine line.
- Body mapped insulation: 60 g per square metre TirolWool Responsive on the front and back, with stretch panels at the sides instead of fill.
- TirolWool Responsive: 60 percent polyester and 40 percent virgin Tirolean wool, with minerals that re emit body heat as far infrared.
- Durastretch Wool side panels: the flanks stretch and breathe, which is what makes the jacket wearable while climbing rather than only at rest.
