The Salewa Wildfire NXT Shoe Men in Quicksand/Dark Olive is Salewa's most advanced approach shoe, built on a seamless Matryx upper with Kevlar reinforcement and a Vibram® All-Terrain Megagrip outsole. It is the door to summit option in the range, aimed at approaches and technical rock rather than pure hiking.

• Matryx upper with Kevlar: the seamless high tenacity nylon with Kevlar reinforcement resists abrasion at a far lower weight than leather, which is why it is used on racing footwear.
• Vibram® All-Terrain Megagrip outsole: the Megagrip compound holds on wet and dry rock, with a Salewa specific tread pattern and a stone guard.
• Gravity rand: the rand wraps the shoe for rock and scree protection where the upper takes the most punishment.
• 3F System on heel and lateral areas: the system supports the ankle and locks the heel without stiffening the whole shoe.
• C.F.F. PRO footbed: the Custom Fit Footbed Pro includes arch support rather than being a flat filler insole.
